10 “ See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.”
Today’s Inspiration: Jeremiah 1:10. God empowers us to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant as He has set us over the Nations and the kingdom. He reinforced us to be a fortified City, and an iron pillar and bronze walls against the wickedness of the land. They will fight against us but they shall not prevail against us for God is with us and nothing can harm us. V18-19. Even Isaiah 54:17 promised us that no weapon can come against us for the battle belongs to the Lord. Looking at events in the world, there seem to be fear and distress in the environment yet God said notwithstanding this, you should prepare yourself to arise and speak what He instructed you and do not be dismayed. V17. This gives us the assurance that everything is under control. Blessings and curses are all instituted by Him depending on our heart which is translated through our tongue. Proverbs 18:21.
2020 is a year where we need to watch and pray and heed the voice of the Lord. Whilst watching, we need to put on the breastplate of faith and love and as a helmet the hope of salvation. V8. Prayers of faith draws us nearer to God where we know He exists and is good that He rewards those who seek Him. When we pray and Revelation is shown to us, we should not doubt but release by faith so that the one whom God wants to bless will be edified. We need to operate the gifts of the spirit by faith allotted to us so that God can use us more and more. When you are in doubt, you are like the waves of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. You need to be steadfast, unmovable, and stable in all your ways so that more power is bestowed upon you. If you can be trusted in little, God will give you more. It’s about stewardship responsibility.
All we need is a simple prayer from a simple heart hallowing His name and allowing His Kingdom to come upon us. Elaborate and impressive prayers are not necessary. More importantly is the soul needs to be soaked in His word and pray according to His will. He will hear and answer when we ask according to His word and according to His will. 1 John 5:14-15.
It’s not about praying perfect prayers but about prayers that cast off the weight of our heart sins and careless words that cling to us. Our prayer require the blood of Christ to cast off these heart sins and idle and careless words. How we live also does affect God hearing our prayers. Therefore our prayers must be sincere, free from unforgiveness and from a pure heart especially this year God is watching over purity of our heart.
My prayer this year for you is that even your simple prayers, God hears. God be praised!
