13 When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities.
14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.
Today’s Inspiration: The prophetic word for this season is Multiplication. Like the days of the New Testament, you give God the substance and He will multiply to feed five thousand people. It’s also a season of victory over the enemies as the angelic army is being released to take over the enemy’s territories. It’s a season of taking great exploits and conquer new territories. It’s a season of launching into the deep. Matthew 14:13-14.
Today’s prophetic word is being confirmed by His word in Proverbs 3:10. So your barns will be plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine. People looked at the world economy but God’s children look into God’s economy. To know God’s economy we must look at the heart of God. What is God’s will in your business? Why should God prosper your business with abundance? He will only prosper your business if you build a house for God to dwell among His people. Our redemption is tied to a goal and that goal is to build a temple of God for Him to dwell with His people. From the beginning He wants to have communion with His people. This should be the goal of every business entrepreneur.
David desires to build a magnificent temple of God. He saw the heart of David a desire to build the temple of God and His willingness to give generously to God and challenge others to give as well. 1 Chronicles 29:2, 6-7. We must remember that we have the legitimate right to claim all that God owns according to the measure of His faith. Haggai 2:8-9. The devil had no legitimate claim to what God possess. We have to give cheerfully only if He rules in your hearts. Treasure is where the heart is. Matthew 6:21. Giving protects you from evil time. Giving is by God’s grace.
We also have to give all of ourselves to the Lord. 2 Corinthians 9:6. As we give of ourselves, God draws all people to us to invest in their life. We need to invest in people with diverse gifts to compliment our gifts.
We must put our walk with God before the business. Many businesses failed because they put business before their walk with Him which is by faith and not by sight. We must look for people to complement our business – those with integrity more than initiative, abiding relationship with God more than advancing the kingdom, timeless truths instead of timely truth. There is a time for everything. Ecclesiastes 3:1. Our mandate that is our walk with God must cradle the mission.
God’s word will surely come to pass. Genesis 14:13-14 came to pass when the Israelites were released from captivity because of God’s word that their labour of 400 years should be paid by Egypt. He placed so much fear on the Egyptians that they want the Israelites out of Egypt and gave up all their riches. What was earned for Egypt by Joseph was returned back to Israel. Tables turned around. They not only carried Joseph’s body out of Egypt they carried out all the riches Joseph earned for Pharaoh. Tables turned and all losses were redeemed. Exodus 12:35-36. A good example is Esther’s time when tables turned around in favour of the Jews. Esther 9. Job’s losses were redeemed. Job 42:2. What cannot God do for you?
When your walk is right with God you will be granted favour by people. Therefore those businesses who have challenges, you have to reflect on your walk with Him before your mission or business can be effective. Mandate must cradle the mission. God be praised!
