8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.”
Today’s Inspiration: Nothing in this world is permanent. Only the word of God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8 All men are like grass and all their glory like flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall. Like the flowers and the grass, if God takes away our breath, we cannot survive. Our life is in His hands. Verses 6-7. Without the Holy spirit, we have no breath of life.
It is time to be still before the Lord to reflect what we have done like Jacob wrestling with the angel of the Lord when he heard that the brother he has offended was coming to meet him. Our past keeps haunting us. We react to life’s circumstances. This is not healthy for the soul. Its an injury to our body. Jacob’s guilt caused one of his hips to be disjointed. Our past trials are lessons of life to determine our ministry for the future. We need to explore heavenly perspective of our calling. Your past are seeds sown and they will wait for the right condition to germinate to full manifestation. Mark 4:28-29.
If you are steadfast in your intense trials, your good days are ahead. Fiery flames is necessary for advancement. This year is 9th year of TCC and 2019 is another 9. 9 means fruit, harvest, fullness, complete release of spiritual gifts. We need to prepare for the fire and fragrance that is being released this year. This is why our retreat this year is empowering fire and the theme for this year is ‘Empowered to blossom.’ I challenge you to join our retreat this year and welcome you to our anniversary this Saturday at 3 p.m.
This is the year of establishing Kingdom relationships. Together we build without looking at who is better but to take instructions from the headquarters in heaven to blossom our life and ministry. We light the fire in our commission that draw us together in covenantal relationships to spur one another and set each other ablaze for the extension of the Kingdom of God to bring glory to His name. Agreement with one another is key.
Ruth and Naomi has to form this covenantal relationship to work towards breaking all hindrances to their future. Ruth did not have self pity neither idle. As soon as they arrived in the land of harvest, she set off to glean in the field to align to His will and attain her spiritual inheritance. Her determination not to remain poor and her action to get out of poverty obtained God’s favour who bestowed her with favour and abundant blessings from Boaz the owner of the fields. Therefore whatever the circumstance, just move away from the poverty mentality and move forward to the ruling power that released life, liberty, destiny abd prosperity advancement. Move into the fields of spiritual breakthrough, the land of Goshen where land is the most fertile and reproduction hastened – a land of righteousness and multiplication, a land overflowing with new wine.
We must continue to seek and work under the guidance of the Holy spirit. Ask him to bring to light whatever needs to be addressed before we can be effective in ministry. We must take authority over the forces of darkness who tried to distract us. It is a deep abiding peace and our fruit of the Spirit especially self control without reactions that can help us overcome the fiercest forces of the enemy. Only when we are free from remembrances that we have the voice of authority to draw people to God. Victory lies in who we are in Christ Jesus the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. It is not what we know but the revelation of who He truly is and the power of His resurrection that makes us an overcomer. This is also the desire of Apostle Paul. Philippians 3:10.
