John 17:20-21

20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;

21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Today’s Inspiration: Why did Jesus stress so much to the disciples on being one with Him and one with each other? If there is no oneness, you cannot function as a unit. John 17:20-26. This applies also to families.

This principle is adopted in the workplace. More so we should apply in the structure of the Church. Many organisations speak of team building as important. They spent thousands of dollars to engage specialists to train in team-building principles. At the end of the day, they still could not develop an effective team. They should be made to understand that belonging to a team is the result of feeling part of something larger than themselves. It has a lot to do with your understanding of the mission or objectives of your organisation.

It is not about who do better but all contribute to the success of the organisation. Even though you have a specific job function and you belong to a specific department, you are unified with other organisation’s members to accomplish the overall objectives. Your function exists to serve the bigger picture.

Therefore it is important that your team members are chosen by God. Those not chosen by God either go in oblivion like Matthias or choose to step out of the team due to clash of personalities. Apostle Paul was chosen by God as the twelfth apostle to take the place of Judas and being the twelfth apostle did beyond one’s recognition. It’s not the numbers in the team that is important but the quality of the members who is committed to build your organisation and go the extra mile to see the success of your organisation without looking for status or reward or even appreciation that is important. Apostle Paul choose disciples according to their calling. He has limited few to build with him.

Jesus with three committed ones started the fire of the Gospel. Acts 2. Apostle Paul was caught by Jesus to spread the Gospel to Asia minor and today we have the Gospel.

Now that the Gospel is in our hands, we need teams to propagate the Gospel even if it means two in a team. Luke 10:1.

2019 the evangelism fire is getting stronger and God will give divine connections who are of influence to society to you so that they too will hear and believe and be part of the extension of His Kingdom.

Remember what Jesus says. He who listens to you listens to Him; he who rejects you rejects Him. He who rejects Jesus rejects God who sent Jesus and now us to preach, teach and counsel. Verse 16. Many a time people perceive we reject them. Actually they reject themselves first so they reject others. Complacency should be stopped in 2019 to avoid satanic attack.

Come 2019 there will be strong warfare between the good and the evil because hebraic character of 9 is ayin tet which is written with a serpent that is hidden. We need to discern witchcraft tools. They will come out in the open. On the good side its a year of pioneering and a year of entrepreneurship. A year of harvest of souls and a year of making profits. Watch and prayer is needed to be divinely protected. Always remember Jesus is more powerful in your life as long as you walk right with Him. Watch your tongue as the Lord revealed the Body of Christ having defiled tongue that is a form of disease. Intensify corporate intercession. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
