14 “ Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength.
15 By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice.
Today’s Inspiration: With endless calls on our attention through emails and whatsapp, and heavy tasks at work, how could we catch up working on our lives have we wonder? We have hardly space for ourselves and we keep God in a box till we have time to commune with Him. That’s not wisdom. It is written that counsel is His so is sound wisdom. He is our understanding and our strength. By Him kings reign and rulers decree justice. Wisdom is like rubies and all the things you desire cannot be compared with her. Proverbs 8.14-15, 11.
People today are fearful of reflection before the Lord for fear of conviction to do things which are least in their agenda. We want comforts of life and do not want to spare the time longer than He expects from us yet we desperately want His intervention so that w could be free. Jesus told his disciples to tarry an hour more with him and to watch and pray and not to fulfil selfish needs but to fulfil His purpose in life. Another extra hour of tarry with God will truly make a difference to your life. You never know that extra hour of tarry might bring an answer to your needs.
Apart from natural, how about creating solace in your mind and heart for spiritual needs. Whatever happens in the natural first happens in the spiritual. Don’t repress your feelings or you will not be able to get in touch with your own emotional state. Worse of all, react to other people’s provocation and inability to connect with others. We are all in the same boat. How do you think we can get out of the boat and pursue into the unknown that God has called us. He knows better than we do.
His calling is irrevocable and He calls the tune. Its better to be convicted and do what He wills because all power is in His hands and our life is also in His hands for He had purchased us with a price we can never envisage not even when we get to heaven.
One thing we should seek is to please Him above all things. He is above all and know us all better than we do. His plans for us is eternal. So look to fulfil eternal values more than the temporal values. Our spirit needs to renew day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18.
