2 God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
3 Every one of them has turned aside; they have together become corrupt; there is none who does good, No, not one.
Today’s Inspiration: Psalm 53:2-3 God always look down from heaven upon His creation – the humanity He regards as children to see if there is anyone who understand, who seek God. But He has found none who does good, not even one. Our righteousness is like filthy rags and we need Jesus who is our Lord our righteousness. We are credited righteous only if we believe and have faith in Him. Romans 10:10 with our heart we believe until righteousness and with our mouth we confess unto salvation.
Yet God regarded us as green olive tree in the house of God, trusting in the mercy of God forever. Psalm 52:8 When you are hit with a critical illness, you truly have to be in the House of God trusting Him forever. A believer should be steadfast unmoved by storms of life and not easily influenced by people with persuasive tongues. They look into eternal values more than temporal. 2 Corinthians 4:18. They are transformed from glory to glory.
God regarded us as a green olive tree. ‘Green’ always talks about health and fertility. Olive trees speak of peace, friendship, harmony, victory, beauty and prosperity. The emphasis is a loving relationship with God. We need to be deeply rooted in God’s word to have intimacy with our heavenly Father. An olive tree’s roots grow very deep and miraculously thrive in desert. A green olive tree blossoms in the desert and not shaken. The reason why we go through fiery trials is to test the strength of our faith and steadfastness.
God’s plan for us is to be a green olive tree. Psalm 52:8, Romans 11:24. God may send us a desert experience yet we still can blossom to produce fruits because we are planted deeply in the House of God. In the House of God there is fresh anointing oil flowing down to us and God exalts us to be strong and imparts us His authority. Psalm 92:10. Those who are planted in the house of God shall flourish and even bear fruit in old age. They shall be fresh and flourishing. Verses 13 and 14.
If we are an olive plant, we shall still flourish as long as we grow deep in the word. We need to have a strong foundation before we could battle the storms of life unto triumph. As all believers are considered olive tree planted in the house of God we will have restoration to health. Jeremiah 30:17.
May this insight bring you understanding of God wanting you to be rooted in His word so that He could grant you divine health always. We are not fighting against sickness and diseases for Jesus had taken them all at Cavalry on the day of our salvation Matthew 8:17. What you are fighting is the enemy’s lies of the critical illness. We do recognise the affliction by the enemy which will be taken care of once we have won the battle in the mind. So stay happy and enjoy the resources God has given you so that you will be nourished to good health.
