43 “Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people, and will have mercy on His afflicted.”
Today’s Inspiration: God is our strength and our comfort and extends mercy to the afflicted. Isaiah 49:13. There are times of affliction where we think God has forgotten us. A woman who gives birth to a child will never forget him or her and even some, due to circumstances, out of reasons of their own, abandon the child, God will not abandon. In the natural we are birthed out of the womb but in the spirit we are birthed out of the spirit of God. God had inscribed us on the palms of our hands since the foundation of the world. V15-16. Hence, it has always been God’s plan for us to enjoy His presence and obey His instructions so that we will eat the best of the land. Isaiah 1:19.
Obedience and God’s plan can only flow out of intimacy with God. All that God has done for us in Christ enables us to have intimate relationship with God. It is this intimate relationship with God that gives us the confidence to trust in His supernatural provision, peace, health and rest in Him in oneness.
Many of God’s people are not experiencing a greater measure of what the Bible says they can do and be what they have been created and formed to be. They are not able to mature in Christ and walk into the destiny God has charted for them. It is time to get out of the reactions of our past experiences where we have been provoked. We cannot get out without confronting them and place them at the cross to separate such healing reactions from our spirit and our soul.
We cannot change our history but we can get out of the past reactions to provocation by our parents, care taker, teachers, leaders and peers and enter into a new life in Christ. Our reactions must be placed under the blood that flows from Immanuel’s veins. When we do that in true repentance, we destroy the demonic oppression structure and the enemy has no more legal right over our life.
Jesus had set the standard for us to live. His death on the cross allows us to identify who we are in Christ Jesus and because He has borne our pain and sorrow on the cross, we are empowered to be set free and be victorious in Christ Jesus. It was for freedom that Christ has set us free and we should not keep reverting to our past reactions. Galatians 5:1.
The lies or half truths and ungodly beliefs planted by Satan in our earlier life has hindered our progress. It’s time to uproot these ungodly beliefs, lies and half truths and move into freedom.
Though God causes grief yet He will show compassion according to the multitudes of His mercies for He does not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. Lamentations 3:31-33. Behind every affliction God has a message.
If you are in this position, let’s search out and examine our ways and turn back to the Lord. Let us lift our hearts and hands to God v40-41who know our hearts more than we do and guide us to a new living way. God be praised!
