1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
Today’s Inspiration: Many are fighting fatigue in this season and to win over stress, anxiety and fear is to seek God for He is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in troubles. Psalm 46:1. The bread of His presence brings healing and restoration. Commune with Him today. God desire compassion, mercy and love in our hearts for others especially those who are in need. Psalm 41:1.
Many are sick today because of struggling with relationships, unrest, insomnia, burnt-out, bitterness and anger of the past. But God is able to break all weariness and restore souls. Praise Him!
Spiritual fatigue and weariness can only be overcome when the Lord is your Shepherd. Psalm 23:1. He will make you lie down on green pastures, leads you beside quiet still waters, and refreshes your soul. Are you seating down at the feet of Christ with the gospel open to you daily? Are you giving rest to your Spirit, soul and body to Christ? Don’t be like a potted plant moving from one place to another anxiously but be like a firm tree planted by the river, which is God’s word and presence. Be still and know that He is God. Psalm 46:10 For a sheep spends most of its time with the Shepherd in rest and pasturing. It’s time of refreshing with the Lord.
Prayer: O Lord Our God, thank you your rod and staff which comfort me in this difficult season. With you, I will not fear. Prepare a table O Lord before me in the presence of my enemies, and anoint my head with oil till my cup overflows as I wait and rest upon you, for you are my desire, in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
