12 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Today’s Inspiration: The Lord desires us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Romans 12:2. Therefore our goal in life should be total inward transformation. Do not allow Satan to boast that Jesus could redeem mankind but cannot change them. The truth is that He is the way the truth and the life. John 14:6. He comes to show us the way to walk and live and not just to forgive sin but also to save mankind from sin and He is returning to a people who are without stain from the world. 1 Thessalonians 4:23.
As He walked the Earth to show mankind how to live, He will one day prove that good will overcome evil. The rivers of human thought will one day be pure again for during times of great darkness and evil that are about to come, He will prove the power of new creation and through them He will remove sin from the whole earth. Even His final judgements on Earth will be His final mercy. The Bible has so much of mysteries. There is no end to understanding all that are written.
Perfection will not come to the Earth till He comes. For perfection we need to be consistent in our walk with God and be always focused on Him.
Many will be called but few are chosen. Many will come to the wedding feast but few will be brides. Many are Christians but they are not disciples. Disciples are those who discipline themselves in the word and devotion with Christ at whatever costs. In Christ you are all new. In Him the very things that have been your greatest weakness can become your greatest strengths. Like Moses we need to go on the path that leads us up to the mountains. Press on if you want to reach the top. Moses was healthy even at the age of 120. His life is always climbing up the mountain to seek the Lord’s counsel. He disciplines himself even though the path is rocky and stormy. It’s the rocky and stormy climb that makes us His disciple.
God is looking for shepherds like king David. They are fearless in warfare against the enemies and pure in the worship. They cannot tolerate the carnality of people those whom He truly called and are devoted to obeying His will and place circumcision of heart as top priority.
May we take heed of every word that God has written in His book.
Prayer: Lord help me to be good stewards of those whom the Lord has drawn to me. By the power of the Holy Spirit help me to discern the spiritual condition of their heart that no carnality remains so that they can be overcomers. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
