13 Therefore the Lord said “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,
14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”
Today’s Inspiration: Is the Bible for the literate or illiterate? Isaiah wrote that the Bible is for the literate but those who are trained by men acquire only men’s wisdom but not God’s wisdom. We need to integrate with His will and connect to Him. God said man’s wisdom will perish. Isaiah 29:11-14. They draw near with their mouths and honour God with their lips but have removed their hearts from Him.
It is also for the illiterate who is dependent upon God for better understanding of the Gospel of what they hear. God is more interested in our attitude towards the word of God declared by God Himself. We need to be trained by God by connecting the word of God with Jesus with our hearts to integrate with His will for better understanding, conviction of the Holy spirit, for transformation so that the maturing process by Jesus can begin.
No one can question the sovereignty of God as to the things that are happening to us for He is the potter and we are the clay. V16. Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from the Lord. V15.
Therefore in your meditation and reflection, connect the word of God to the Lord’s heart that you may know what He is guiding you in this season to mature. If you cannot connect and integrate with God’s heart, you can never understand the purpose of God at this time of your life. May God open your understanding to today’s inspiration!
