17 For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.
18 Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”
Today’s Inspiration: “For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known our brought out into the open. Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more, whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him. Luke 8:17-18. Hearts are never silent; what hides in the heart will find its way to the lips. Throughout scripture God spoke about lips and tongue. Even David asked God to guard the door of his lips. Psalm 141:3. What comes out of our heart is a reaction of our formative influences of our parents or our caretakers. Normally we take words of correction as condemnation rather than conviction of the Holy Spirit to bear fruit. The same message may be heard by four persons but each might perceive differently depending on their spiritual condition. We are a temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 3.16. We need to guard the gates of the Holy Spirit which are our five senses given to us for His purposes. However satan would also like to usurp the throne of Jesus as well through the mind. We therefore need to guard our mind which is filled with childhood wounds that needed extermination before it destroys our position in Christ on judgement day as we face the judgement seat of Jesus Christ to account for the good and bad deeds we do on earth. 2 Corinthians 5:10.
Everyone survived by burying those unpleasant memories. Pain from unresolved incidents threatened every aspect of our life, our emotional health, our spiritual condition, our marriage and every job we have. Unresolved issues cause us to be manipulative and assertive. Even as adult we still react like a child. Its like a child in an adult body. The Bible tells us to grow up and not to react childishly. 1 Corinthians 13:11.
Let us allow Jesus to uproot these wounds and move on with life without which we are arrested in spiritual development. Just as roots cannot detach from the tree, we cannot walk away from the childhood wounds without the Holy spirit’s revelation of our roots and uprooting them. The Lord permits them to be uprooted since they are not planted by our Heavenly Father. Matthew 15:13.
We have a choice to retain our sins or remove them. These heart sins affect our health today.
If you have intense fear or anxiety, it will get into our digestive system causing either constipation or diarrhoea. Our past is still hidden in subconscious memory and affects our thought life. Whatever we conceive in our thoughts, we receive at our soul level that affects our body.
So address your wounds of formative years so as to grow spiritually. Life is miserable carrying these excess baggage with us throughout life which gets heavier as we carry throughout our lifetime. Its time to know the truth that we may be set free and have freedom in the spirit. John 8:32. It was for freedom that Christ has set us free. Let us not be enslaved again. Galatians 5:1.
