92 Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction.
93 I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have given me life.
Today’s Inspiration: We would have perished in our affliction if not for the Word of God that sustains us. As we delight upon them, life is returned to us. Psalm 119:92-93. His word is truly a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Psalm 119:105.
We need to meditate on the word like Joshua did as instructed in Joshua 1:8 and linger in the tabernacle like Joshua did in Exodus 33:19.
It’s only through deep meditation of His word and contemplation of His word that changed our life. In the presence of a Holy God, nothing matters except purity and holiness. In the presence of a Holy God we know He is faithful and just. Our crown cannot compare to the crown of glory He can give. Change is inevitable in the presence of a Holy God. Sins cannot stand the presence of a Holy God. God brings the best out of us, and develops in us a well-formed matured person ready to take on any challenges without fear. We need to be changed inside out before we can confidently say we have already matured. The external appearance is an illustration of a total change on the inside. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a Holy nation. 1 Peter 2:9.
Our life is governed by our thought life. How important it is to have hopeful and glorious thoughts of ourselves and our future. Proverbs 23:7. We cannot function by half truths and false perceptions. The choices we make are important in influencing where we will be. Half truths and half values land us in the wrong place. Do not merely make decisions by the voices around you but make them according to what God is speaking to you that grant you peace. Isaiah 11:3. We must always aim at an excellent spirit like the Proverbs 31 women who do not idle and do not neglect her home either. She does her duty as a wife and mother according to the ways of the Lord.
Man is only a breath away. His days are like passing shadow. Psalm 144:4. Why do we strive? Make full use of every opportunity to bless someone and teach them to do God’s will and lead them in the righteous way. Psalm 143:10. Let His word today impact you for the rest of your life and be a guide to your path of righteousness for His name sake and allow Him to restore your soul always. As your soul is restored, health follows. Psalm 23:4, 3 John 2.
