16 “O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim, You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.
Today’s Inspiration: God is speaking to His people to seek Him that He might bring them victory in whatever they do. When King Hezekiah was threatened by Assyria, the first thing he did was to go to the House of the Lord and pleaded for mercy to intervene that all the kingdom of the Earth may know that He is the Lord and He alone. Isaiah 37:15-20. Meditate on the way he prayed. He started honoring God and then started his plea and laid his petition against Assyria. This is the way we should pray in times of critical war where there seems to be no way to turn and where you are starved with solutions.
He did not seek men for help first. God heard his petition and spoke through Isaiah to remind him that he had been formed to crush fortified cities and that the army of Assyria had little power and that He will defend the city and the tenant shall again take root downwards and bear fruit upwards. V31 &35. It came to pass that God sent an angel to kill 185000 Assyrians and gave him the victory. V36.
When we pray the right prayer, miracles happen. We need to pray according to the word with the power of the Holy Spirit inviting His presence and glory so that you shall always have victory.
In John 17:11 Jesus prayed for His disciples to be united as a body in a manner like the unity He had with His Father. He elaborated the same thing for believers in John 17:20-23. We cannot say we are United with the Holy Spirit and that is enough. We cannot be united with the Head leaving the Body out. Without unity with His Body, we cannot fulfill the whole purpose of God. Therefore it is necessary for the Body to be United. Failing to be United opens the door for Satan to shoot his missile. He can only have legal claim over us if we are not united.
We need to understand that we have more power than the enemy because the weapons God gave us are not carnal but more divinely powerful than the power of the enemy. We therefore need to understand how to walk in authority and know how to use these weapons of warfare and be alert at all times to wear the full amount of God. 2 Corinthians 10:4, Ephesians 6:10-11.
Thanks be to God who always leads us in Triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 2 Corinthians 3:14. God be praised. Enter into His rest as Today is your day of victory.
