39 “ then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.
40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me.“
Today’s Inspiration: What an assurance from the Lord. He is giving us singleness of heart and action so that we will always fear the Lord for our own good and the good of our children after us. He has made an everlasting covenant with us that He will never stop doing good to us and will inspire us to fear Him so that we will never turn away from Him. Jeremiah 32:39-40. He will always rejoice in doing good to us and assuredly plant us in the land He has given us with all His heart and soul. V41.
God is always desirous of restoring our future and grant us the promises He has for us from the foundation of the world. All we need is to call upon Him with right motives and He will answer us. When you do your reflection daily before the Lord, He will reveal to you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
If you do not have faith in God, you do not trust Him enough to walk with Him. Faith involves belief in God’s existence. Faith places the highest value on God Himself. Faith rests and relies on God of revelation. Faith respond to words of God. Noah is the first person in the Bible who acts in direct response to His word to build an ark. Hebrews 11:7. By faith he condemned the world and became heir of righteousness that comes by faith. He heeded His warning of a flood of catastrophic proportions unlike anything he had never seen before. Righteousness before a holy God is not a human achievement but the gift of a gracious God because of the finished work of Christ. When we trust in the Lord Jesus Christ the Holy God declared us righteous on the basis of the finished work of Christ.
So rend your heart and not your garments. Who knows He may turn and have pity on your situation and leave behind a blessing.
If God wants to bless, there is nothing one can do. Balaam could not curse Israel because of the Lord’s intervention. When Balak told Balaam not to curse Israel nor bless them, Balaam answered that he needs to do whatever the Lord directs. Numbers 23:26. Even if Balak gives him his palace, be could do nothing of his own accord, good or bad to go beyond the Lord’s command. He must say what the Lord speaks. Numbers 24:14. Such is the Sovereignty of our Lord.
Prayer: Lord I shall speak to my spirit the Oracle of God and not the opinion of others that all may go well with me and my descendants. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
