37 “…For with God nothing will be impossible.”
Today’s Inspiration: I thank God that I have received 2 testimonies of thanks for miraculous healing – one of invasive Cancer and the other a healing of a dangerous and rare virus contracted after a trip from Hong Kong which almost take a toll of their lives. God is indeed a God of wonders and we are formed for signs and wonders. Isaiah 8.18. With God all things are possible. Luke 1:37. This signifies 2019 a year of divine health.
Today I like to share some nuggets of fasting. Fasting builds character and enhances self-control and more yielding of our lives to the Holy spirit. We find more control of our tongue, mind and emotions and subdue our fleshy desires. God desires our total submission so that He can use us for His purposes.
Our mouth can be our greatest weapon of destruction of our lives including our thoughts. What we think affects our future and our health. What we speak has the same results – good or bad. James 3:6. It depends on the way we communicate. Our tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. Every anger or cursed words defiles our whole body causing diseases and is a fire set up by hell. So let your body be your slave. Make no provision to gratify your desires. Romans 13:14. Crucify flesh. Romans 6:6.
For out of abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Matthew 12:34 For every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it on the day of judgement. Verse 36. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth. Ephesians 4:29.
Both blessings and curses have staying power and we should be cautious to obey God. Blessings stay alive even when the inheritor of the blessings pass on. Blessings remain available for whoever fulfils the started requirements. Regrettably curses have the same effect.
Blessings and curses too have their multiplying effect like blessings pronounced to Abraham. God will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. Genesis 12:3. So keep blessing yourself and others so that good will come to you.
