9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!, but the tent of the upright will flourish.
Today’s Inspiration: We need to be an instrument of faith for God. Satan will always want to weaken our faith to ensnare us. The one thing that Satan wants to work against us is God’s vision of faith to us to do His will. Once that faith is undermined or if the vision is not clearly defined, we are on the verge of losing our authority. Faith is not always remaining where we are but expecting the impossible. If we have a resistant heart towards authority, faith is weakened. Jesus heals the servant of the centurion because the centurion had great faith in believing the power of Jesus’ authority to heal. There was no measure of unbelief in his heart. Matthew 8:9-10.
Faith starts with activation. Till we activate, we do not know the measure God has given us to outwit the enemy. We tend to fear the enemy more than we fear God because of our bad experiences in the past. Our past does not determine our future or God’s plans for our life.
In times of testing, all it needs is a simple word from the Lord that speaks a profound truth to us. As we continually look out for God’s voice, our faith will continually grow. We cannot afford to lose faith or say idle words that open the door to the enemy. Once he enters, it takes supernatural faith to lure him out.
This is why Apostle Paul stressed so much on the Word of God being the shield of faith, which is a spiritual weapon that can quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. Ephesians 6:16. Unless the shield of faith is in place, we cannot disarm the accuser of brethren to extinguish the false accusations of the enemy.
Hence the prayer of faith is the gift of faith given by the Holy Spirit. If faith is not activated nor permeates our whole being, the Holy Spirit cannot manifest a miracle in the natural environment. If Moses had no faith in his prayer, he would not have activated the gift of the work of miracles to demonstrate God’s glory that caused the enemy to shudder and part with their wealth. Exodus 12:35-36. When the vision is according to God’s will, it attracts provision.
Is your vision aligning to His purpose? If so, never fear provision. Philippians 4:19. God be praised.
