Ezekiel 33:8

8   When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

Today’s Inspiration: It is very important for us to convey the message of God be it warning or good news. Ezekiel 33:8 warns us that if God gives a word of warning and we do not dissuade the wicked man from his sin, that wicked man will die for his sins and we are accountable for his blood. People do not like rebuke but if we don’t rebuke him with love and point the truth to him, we will be judged by God. What do you prefer? Fear man or fear God?

Instead of rebuke, one tends to gossip instead which is a sin. Gossip is a means of separating friends from one another. Let us talk of something better than each other’s character. Let us correct with love and gentleness. Galatians 6:1. Surely we are short of subject if we keep talking against someone. May it never be in the church as this is sin. Envy is also another heart sin that must be removed.

We are to love one another and therefore we are not to look down on those more inferior.

If we do all these, we have not kept the unity of the spirit and if we have not kept this unity required by the Truth we have disobeyed God. Those who strayed from the truth are those who are inconsistent with the walk with God, and those who neglected prayer closets. We are to be in His likeness and imitates his example to attract the crowds to Jesus. A secure relationship with God casts out demonic influences from our life.

So rend your hearts not your garments. Walk right with Him. Joel 2:13. He is sending you grain, new wine and oil enough to satisfy you fully. He is restoring your eminence and dignity. V19. Our God is gracious and compassionate and slow to anger but abounding in love for God is love. He relents from sending calamity. Jonah 4:2. There is so much to thank God for.
