Psalm 139:15-16

15  My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.”

Today’s Inspiration: Life is all about relationships. We tend to overlook the importance of valuing what we have. Relationships are the most important aspect of our life. Christianity is all about relationships and the most important relationship is with God who form us and who is our first love because He is the one who saw our unformed substance Psalm 139:15 and form us to His image and wrote His plans for us verse 16. Jesus spoke of the abiding relationship with us in John 15:4-5. This is the year of fruitfulness and unless we abide in Him, we cannot bear fruit.

The greatest commandment is to love Him first then love our neighbour, our family, our friends, family of Christ and relatives as ourselves. Matthew 22:36-40. If we love Him, we will obey what He commands. John 14:15.

You and I were created to live in relationship with God. Nothing will fill the emptiness except the relationship with God for which we were formed. We have emptiness because we fail to find that relationship with God. No one can fill your hunger except Jesus the Bread of life. John 6:35. We have been seeking man to fill our hunger. No one can satisfy our deepest hunger except Christ who is the One who reconciled us to God.

Ultimately unless we are living in a relationship with God, we will never find true meaning and purpose in life. Other things may provide temporary satisfaction but only abiding relationship with God will last.

You may be unable to face up to your reality. God knows your heart better than you do. Do not allow shame, guilt, bitterness, fear and self-centredness to paralyse your potential. Just as with cancer, those who recognise their need are far better off than those who are lulled into a false sense of security. God has a plan and purpose for everything that has happened to us. He needs to clean us up and purged everything from us. Just by reading and meditating the word is only surficial healing. What you need is deep healing of the inward parts that have been caused by broken relationships and generational iniquity. God wants to heal you and turn your remorse to joy. You need to face the truth of God’s conviction that you might be set free. It was freedom that Christ has set you free. Galatians 5:1. But this freedom like all prophecies is conditional. You need to come to terms with God and yourself and allow Him to cleanse and sanctify you before you can be free. 1 John 1:9 and John 17:17.

So at this time of the year, it is good to reflect your past broken relationships dated as far back as childhood and bring them to Jesus to clear you of all bitterness, fear, guilt, shame, anxiety, insecurity and hopelessness. By so doing, you don’t daily react and be able to live in harmony with others and mature in Christ. You daily react because you are still a child living in an adult body. You need to grow up. 1 Corinthians 13:11. You don’t have to live this way. You are to mature and be fruitful. Whatever sickness you are suffering, God is in control and wants to deliver you. Those with cancer who allow God to heal deeply their hearts are already healed. So if you are going through any sickness beyond medicine, come to Jesus for His medicine that can give you eternal redemption.

God be praised.
