13 That our barns may be full, supplying all kinds of produce; that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields;
14 That our oxen may be well laden; that there be no breaking in or going out; that there be no outcry in our streets.
Today’s Inspiration: God’s choicest blessings are flowing in this season. God’s promises to us is that whatever we own will increase by thousands and tens of thousands. There will be no breaching of walls, no going into captivity neither cry of distress. You will be filled with every kind of provision. Psalm 144:13-14. All these will be yours if you believe with childlike faith. Blessed are the people of whom this is true. Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord. V15.
We cannot always remain as children. We need to grow in maturity. Genesis 28 when God appeared to Jacob in the room, it is a time of individuation. He is to be cut off from formative influences before he can walk into God’s calling for a higher purpose. It is when you are at crisis that you seek God earnestly. In Psalm 5.1-3, David desperately cried for help.
Genesis 28:18 Jacob took the stone and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on it. Here we are reminded that we cannot remain as living stone forever. We must grow up to be a pillar. It is the stone people who build the church but the pillar people who expand the church. Pillars allow the natural house to expand. The same is true with people pillars in the house of God.
We must be strong people who take pillar type responsibility to be a strong healthy church. Until we relinquish our rights we cannot accomplish what God called us to do. Pillar people both accept and delegate responsibility. They know how to build. Discipleship to reproduce disciples is in their bones.
A pillar people is one who are led by the spirit who is free from moodiness, faithfully providing strength and support without the need for recognition or reward. This kind of person finishes all the talks, does not procrastinate or make excuses for spiritual laziness and stands alone if necessary. A pillar person is a mature Christian for whom holiness is more attractive than happiness. He craves solid food and accepts spiritual discipline as well as serving others than being served.
Has God chosen you to be a pillar? Do you qualify to be a pillar? If you have been a living stone for years, its time to work with God on your life to be a pillar so you can be an instrument used by God to bring your goals to another level of expansion. Mature to be a pillar. God’s children should be a pillar that is not easily moved by emotions or be easily influenced. A pillar is like a strong tower like Jesus. God be praised.
