Proverbs 15:3

3   The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good..

Today’s Inspiration: The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good. Proverbs 15:3. This is why we need to reflect our attitudes and behavior before God daily to ensure whatever we speak or do are pleasing to Him. Hence David always ask God to search his heart daily and examine his mind. Psalm 139:23-24. By so doing, he is qualified by God to be a man after God’s heart. This does not mean that everything he does is performed perfectly. It is because He is always desiring to please God and does what He commands in total reliance of the Holy Spirit that justifies him.

David needs God’s grace everyday of his life. The grace of God does not involve just forgiveness of sin. Forgiveness is unearned unmerited gift He has given to you. If you are unable to forgive, there is no God’s grace in your heart. If you do not have grace to forgive your offenders, you are in the enemy’s camp which is enmity towards God. Therefore have God’s grace to forgive yourself and your offender even if he or she don’t forgive you so that you are eligible to receive His forgiveness. Whatever you sow you will reap. Galatians 6:7.

We only understand God’s grace to save our soul but grace has a deeper meaning. His Grace reaches into every aspect of the salvation process that includes health, healing, spiritual discernment, security, sound mind, sanctification to Holiness, godliness and godly character and to be able to have self-control of all your emotions and eternal life until eternity. All we have to do is to respond to His gift of Grace.

God’s grace cannot be limited to biblical application of unearned pardon of sin through Jesus’ sacrificial love on the cross but His grace also empowers you to overcome every ‘giant’ in your life. Romans 8:37.

It was God’s grace to send Jesus to show us the way of life and His truth that set us free. (John 14:6, 8:32). It was His grace to give command to Adam to eat only those trees of life but not the tree of knowing good and evil because He knows men’s heart are frail and are prone to temptation to err. Men’s efforts are futile to make wise decisions. Psalm 94:11. He wants all men to achieve success so that His name will always be glorified. Joshua 1:9. He wants to be with them always. He gives this assurance to Moses and Joshua as well as all those who serve Him in humility. We see men’s frailty in Adam causing sin to enter the world with his disobedience.

We should not deviate from the path of dependence upon the Holy Spirit. If we do, we miss the mark and have broken our obligation to mirror and reflect ourselves against the standards of the Holiness of God. James 1:23-25.

May God’s grace be upon you always and may you meditate always the intents of your heart that you do not sin against God. Premeditated sin without action is also sin as proclaimed by Jesus. Matthew 5:28. God be praised by your continuous obedience.
