2 Corinthians 3:5-6
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,
6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Today’s Inspiration: What led to our downfall is always the deceptive words of Satan. Whatever you see in the natural, you cannot deny but you have the authority to deny it’s right to exist in your body in Jesus name. Satan’s strategy is to get us to live independently of God. Satan always want to Rob us of our victory by making us to love a lifestyle of the world. Self sufficiency is the greatest strategy of Satan against our sufficiency in Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:5-6. Satan used a fruit to tempt Eve. Temptation is not the real problem but it’s his deceptive words that caused Eve to fall. It’s the letter that kills but the spirit who gives life. Let’s be led by the spirit to know that God always knows what is good for His children.
Satan cannot be the accuser of brethren unless your mind that led to your words, permits him to do so. Satan can’t do anything about our identity in Christ but he can entice us to believe God does not want us to experience good things and draw us away from serving by throwing fiery darts of threats into our mind to hinder us from serving. It’s all in the mind that brought trouble to us like our fear, anxiety, stress, inferiority. We tend to anticipate threats before they come to us. What we believe we receive.
Satan used man to inflict wounds on others. He is determined to undermine the work of the Holy Spirit who was sent to lead us into all truth. John 14:6, John 8:32.
Truth is our first line of defense against deception. This is dramatically illustrated in the lives of Anainas and Sapphira in Acts 5:3. They were enticed by Satan to lie and the Holy Spirit used Peter to expose the source of the lie by saying’Why have you allowed Satan to fill your heart to lie to the spirit?’
We must take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5. Forgiveness must be from the heart so that Satan cannot take advantage and we are not ignorant of his device. 1 Corinthians 2:10-11. Bitterness give rise to personal torment and spiritual defeat. Matthew 18:34. To be free from our past and demonic attack, Jesus urged us to forgive. Let us awake to righteousness and not be enticed to disobedience. Let us bear the image of Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:49 so that we are not easily enticed by the Father of lies. John 8:44 who is the liar from the very beginning. God be praised! By faith you stand steadfast and immovable whatever your circumstances.
