8 “But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause–
9 Who does great things, and unsearchable, Marvelous things without number.
10 He gives rain on the earth, And sends waters on the fields. 11 He sets on high those who are lowly, And those who mourn are lifted to safety.
Today’s Inspiration: Childlike faith has to be exercised in order to hasten a miracle to your trials. How God turn the tables around in favour of His favoured people, is something we cannot fathom. God planned it so well, so orderly and so patiently that before you know it, the unplanned and unexpected miracles comes knocking at your door. We have seen in the story of Moses and Esther and many other men and women of God in the Bible which were all recorded for our learning of who our God truly is. Job 5:8-11 he says God performs wonders that cannot be fathomed and miracles that cannot be counted. V12 He thwarted the plans of the crafty so that their hands achieve no success.
There are 8 steps to intentional discipleship. First two steps are foundational. The first step is Biblical theology which provokes us with a question of who God is. First and foremost I like to highlight that God is creator and He is a spirit. When He created us He created us to be spiritual beings then a physical being to connect to the world. But with Edenic fall, humanity has become more a physical being. Since we are born again, we are now back to spiritual being. Then why are we not looking into unseen which is real but focused on natural which is not a reality?
Isaiah 11:3 teaches us not to judge by what we see with our eyes nor decide by what we hear with our eyes. In times of trial, God is working behind the scene for our triumph. God is a miracle God. He is the answer to every insolvable problem as He is the Alpha and Omega the God of beginning to the end. He is the planner of your destiny. His love is unconditional and gives good gifts to His children to flow together in unity living in harmony with each other. He provides divine connections to empower you to work His plans successfully. There are so much revelations of who God is. Who is God to you?
If you know God then you will have absolute allegiance to Him. You submit to Him in all areas of your life including your calling. His principles are eternal and unchanging. Malachi 3:6.
In the Sermon of the mount Jesus did not teach us what to do but to live by His principles. Without dealing with the roots, you cannot have wings to soar. We tend to deal with surface problems rather than root problems. We fail to see the Biblical priorities in life. Yet if our priority is God then we should hunger for Him. We are told to seek Him and His righteousness which is attained through childlike faith allowing Him to direct our way. Matthew 6:33.
We must know God’s heart. God cannot tolerate us moving in the flesh which is always fighting against the spirit.
The Gospel is all about change. We are not changed by seeing ourselves but beholding His glory that we are changed into His image which is the image we the Church are called to behold. 2 Corinthians 3:18. When we the branch is not connected to the vine we are easily distracted from the purpose of reproduction of our kind. Noah was told to bring the animals to the Ark 2 of it’s kind to reproduce. Hence reproduction of disciples like you should be your priority. His desire is for souls to be saved yes but it does not end with saying the sinner’s prayer but you should continue walking with them to make them disciples to model like you as you model Christ. Matthew 28:18-20.
Every believer is to be a minister and not a selected few. May you reproduce disciples this season!
