1 John 2:16
16 And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
Today’s Inspiration: Isaiah 59:1 Isaiah challenged us with a question: Is His hand too short that He cannot save? We have sometimes make deliverance so big an issue that God cannot save. We have forgotten that there are entry points in our life that grants the devil access to our life. He is all out to destroy God’s kingdom and our prophetic destiny. We need to confront the devil with authority but we can do it only with the fruit of the spirit and the word of God plus our shield of faith and helmet of salvation. If you are casting out the devil half believing in that authority which was vested in you, he will reinforce the strongholds he has already planted in your mind. Your entry point is your weakness which John summed up in 1 John 2:16 lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the lust of pride. We need to expose the devil.
The devil has held the world captive. The mission of Jesus was to set captives free and destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8.
When Jesus came to the world He brought the Good news to deliver the captives from the grips of the enemy to the light of Jesus if only they will turn back to Him. It was certainly bad news to the Prince of darkness who has established his rule in the earth after attempting to usurp the throne of God. He was given charge of 1/3 angels which he cohorts with them to usurp God’s throne. So God kicked him out of His kingdom.
It is important that we don’t let our guard down as he will come back when we least expect it. We need to learn from the One Who holds the Key to victory.
