8 Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
Today’s Inspiration: As we start the week, let us give thanks for His unfailing love and His wondrous works. Psalm 107:8, 15-17. With the prophetic message of tables turning to our favour, this season, let us welcome God’s words with joy and fullness of heart that we might find fulfilment in our life. His promises never return to Him void without accomplishing its purpose. Isaiah 55:11. God sent His word to heal you. Psalm 107:20.
3 John 2 as the soul prospers, so will our health and everything prospers. This means emotional health is the primary source of all healing- healing of our soul and body. Psalm 94:11 God’s word says men’s efforts are futile. When infirmity hits us, only God can heal and this is why many people go for spiritual help than physical means. Only with God we will gain victory and He will trample down our enemies. Psalm 108:10. Our faith can do wonders. When we come to God in childlike faith believing He can heal us, we will be healed. Matthew 9:22 God heals according to the measure of your faith. Each one is given a measure of faith and even the faith as small as mustard seed can move mountains. Romans 12:3 and Matthew 17:20.
Indeed there is power of two. Though one maybe overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12. Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labour. V9. Jesus reinforced this truth quoting that when two or three are gathered together and agree in prayer, God will answer our prayer for when two or three are gathered together in Jesus name, He is with us. Matthew 16:19. He has given us the two important tools to pray which connects heaven to earth – binding and loosing. V20. Whatever we bind or loose on earth will be bound in heaven. Jacob was shown a spiral ladder which reinforces this truth and calls us to intercessory prayer. Genesis 28:12. Till we stand in faith and pray in unity, understanding the battle plan of the Lord, we will be aiming at the wrong target. Our prayers need to touch heaven so that our shackles on earth can be shaken off and break free from captivity.
In this season of turn around, we need the battle armoury of childlike faith as in Matthew 18:2, power of unity in prayer, we need to connect our ladder on earth to heaven through intercession like Esther and Mordecai in unity with the Jews to save them, we need to connect with watchman who discern the timing and target of the Lord to partner with those in position of influence like Esther and the boldness of Esther risking her life to seek audience with the people in authority like the king without being summoned. Nehemiah caught the truth and activate corporate prayer in performing the important assignment of the Lord by stationing watchman to be alert and watchful and give warning to those working on the wall. For those working on the wall, they are to prayerfully work on the project. – represented by weapons on one hand and working tools on the other. Unless the Lord build the House we labour in vain. Psalm 127:1. His plans can never be frustrated. Nehemiah 4:15.
When God back you up with His mighty angels, protecting you and fighting the battle for you, you can never be defeated. One angel alone could kill 18000 people or more till God gives the signal to stop. When Moses and his congregation was at the end of the road, they did not panic nor falter but stand still prayerfully waiting for God’s miraculous intervention. Exodus 14:14. There is power in prayer in unity. Submit your problem to the Lord, resist the enemy and he will flee from you. Don’t magnify the devil’s powers but exalt the name of Jesus in praise and heavens back you up. James 4:7.
