1 Corinthians 10:31
31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Today’s Inspiration: God has fearfully and wonderfully made us and His formation of us is perfect but the environment in which we were brought up with is being tarnished, paralysing our calling. We could not handle our fear, anxiety, anger and bitterness. We need to understand that as believer, whatever we do, we do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31. It is important that we do not justify nor daily taking in offences or we will be a miserable person. Life is more than painful memories. We should be free from the filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 7:1. We need to be reparented by the Lord through His word. It’s His word that sets us free for His word is the Truth. John 8:32.
It is important to highlight Hebrews 12:9 where we are reminded to be subject to the Father of spirits and live. Our earthly fathers parented us the best to their knowledge and abilities but our heavenly Father parented us for eternal destiny that we may be partakers of His holiness. Verse 10. He who called us is holy. Isaiah 6:3. The whole earth is full of His glory. Can you perceive it?
As humans, we experience deep level of brokenness. Brokenness is the launching pad for Jesus’ desire to bring them to freedom. Human efforts are futile. You need the power of the Holy Spirit to bring healing to the whole person. True healing is not surfacial where wounds can fester. Surfacial healing is insufficient as it heals the symptoms only and the problems can return but true healing is the healing of the inner person- the mind, the emotions, the painful memories, the dreams. We are supposed to be trained in the ways of the Lord. Proverbs 22:6 but alas human fathering normally ends up in control and finger pointing leading the child to put into their subconscious memory, anger, resentment, rejection, bitterness and low self esteem thereby paralysing them to move forward for fear of further hurts and rejection. So many have missed opportunities to progress.
The good news is that Christ’s power can uproot those roots for which such damage springs. So basically we need our Father to heal our memories and teaching us to live and walk with Him through sanctification bible study based on His word which is the Bible for our abundant living.
