33 And the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.
Today’s Inspiration: The Lord made it clear from the days of Moses and throughout scriptures which are even applicable today, that no one is accountable for another person’s sins. Exodus 33:33. So the Lord plagued the people because of what they did… V35.
IJob made sacrifices for his children daily for their sins. Even those sacrifices could not atone for their sins and all of them died in the challenges between God and Satan over Job’s uprightness and integrity of heart. Job 1:5, 1:18-19.
Let us therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which Moses had commanded that it may go well with us and with our children after us and that we will live the full life span which the Lord our God has intended for us. Dt 4:40. We are righteous only if we are careful to observe all the commandments the Lord our God has given us. Dt 6:25. As I quoted yesterday Only the righteous can stop the plague. Israel was spared from the plague in Egypt, but today we see Israel also going through pandemic. This is in view that God’s people conform to the world rather than be transformed to His likeness. They have failed to differentiate between facts and truth.
There is lack of spiritual fathers and mothers to train God’s children in the church. It’s time we raise fathers and mothers to train Christ’s family to be transformed to the image of Christ. There is a battle against the truth of the Gospel which churches cannot handle. It takes the hand of God to put fear in people’s hearts to turn back to the truth.
The fact is that those who believed in Jesus should know the truth and the truth will set them free. John 8:32, 36. But yet why did Jesus asks in Luke 6:46 why do you call me Lord, Lord and not do the things which He says? The truth is that we can’t hear His voice as we do not truly know Him. We failed to cultivate our close relationship with Him. We read the Word but the Word did not convict us to change our old nature.
Today’s spiritual warfare is no ordinary warfare. It must be prayed through in desperation. It must be prayed like Jesus at Gethsemane when he was on the verge of obeying God’s will to go to the cross. He prayed with much agony that his sweat became blood. Luke 22:44. We need to pray God-centered unceasing prayer for the pandemic in the Nations to stop.
<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”font-size: 13pt;”>Salvation prayer is the start of our life with Jesus. Our next level is to be free. Only relationship with His word (Jesus) can break the glue that binds our old nature to our heart. We need to guard our heart with His word so that the old carnal nature will not surface. We should not reject or neglect knowledge or we will be destroyed. Hosea 4:6. This is the day of reckoning. Hosea 9:7, Genesis 9:5.</span></p>
<p style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”font-size: 13pt;”>This is a time of cultivating our intimate relationship with God that we will have Revelation of His truth. We have been hearers of the Word but we neglect the application to our lives. Apostle James tells us not to be forgetful hearers but to apply to our lives so that we will be blessed in whatever we do. James 1:25. God be praised.</span></p>
