1 “Listen, O coastlands, to Me, and take heed, you peoples from afar! The Lord has called Me from the womb; from the matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name.
Today’s Inspiration: We need to understand and believe that the plans and purpose of our life from the beginning of formation till now are all destined by God. Isaiah 49:1. Our mouth has been refined to speak for God and hidden until the time is right to glorify His name. V2-3. As long as our tongue is trained by the Lord, we speak words of transformation to people’s lives. V17. We need to examine ourselves if our words certainly did profit us and others. Isaiah 48:17.
We should not allow our overload of our past failures, false accusations and unpleasant experiences hinder our progress. People are blaming God for their problems not knowing that they are responsible for the upkeeping of their own temple and ensuring they are not defiled. Once defiled, we must take ownership and have them cleansed. Apostle Paul devoted 2 Corinthians 7:1 to remind us to cleanse ourselves from the filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting Holiness in the fear of the Lord. Those who blame God should not expect to inherit His unchangeable covenantal promises nor be able to achieve success.
It is good to unload our problems by dealing with them by reflective prayer that will lead to our transformation rather than to carry them along with us in bitterness that one day will explode us. This is one landmine we should not tread on.
In this world as long as we live in the flesh, the flesh will always wrestle against the spirit. It is how you handle the flesh that is important. Blessed are those who knows how to tell the flesh to stop wrestling and be silent so that they can always walk in the spirit. If you are unable to shake off the flesh, it is good not to associate with negative people but with those who live and be led by the spirit. Fleshy people are ungodly and they shall perish one day. Psalm 1:6.
Therefore be filled with the spirit daily with worship and praise, prayer, meditation of the word in reflection against your spirit and be refreshed and revitalised daily. He is your King and your God and look up to Him. When you look at circumstances, you are bound in bondage. Psalm 5:3.
Do not allow flesh to cause you to sin but lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangled you and run the race with endurance set before you looking only to Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith and who has shown you the way, the truth and the life and now sits at the right hand of the Father watching over you. Hebrews 12:1-2. So be not distracted by the flesh and unload all that the flesh has failed you and keep the faith running the race till eternity. God be praised.
