6 “Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.”
Today’s Inspiration: Wishing you a blessed Pentecost! Looking forward to see you at the Feast this afternoon at 3 p.m. On this day, God is reminding us to always remember the Lord’s goodness during our humble beginning, when we were so dependent upon Him for our sustenance. His one desire is for us to keep His commandments and walk in His ways and to reverence him with fear of the Lord, observing all His statutes and obeying all His commandments. Deuteronomy 8:6. He has brought you to a land where you will lack nothing but have abundance of wheat, barley, vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land full of olive oil and honey. V7-8.
There are only blessings in obedience. You will attain divine health and receive multiplication in the fruit of your land and your womb and whatever you do prosper. Deuteronomy 7:12-15. God will never allow you to hunger as long as you live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Deuteronomy 8:3.
God had given us the ten commandments to be observed unconditionally as they were written with the finger of God and given to Moses. Deuteronomy 5:22. We shall be careful to do what have been commanded and to walk in His ways that it may be well with us and our days be prolonged. Deuteronomy 5:32-33. These commandments shall be observed by all generations. Deuteronomy 6:2. These shall be bound to our hearts and mind. Thirdly we shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord that it may be well with us when we possess the land which God had given us. Deuteronomy 6:18. Unless we are careful to observe these commandments, we are not considered righteous.
God will love us and multiply us. We will see increase in all that we do. Deuteronomy 7:13-14. The Lord will also take away from us all sickness. V15. Finally we are to always remember the Lord our God when we prosper abundantly. We are to bless the Lord our God for the good land He had given us. Deuteronomy 8:10. We must always remember that it is the Lord our God who empowers us to produce wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18.
How gracious is our God to give us a land filled with milk and honey where abundance is assured in all that we do and we will prosper greatly. For the Lord your God is a God of justice. Blessed are those who wait on Him. Isaiah 30:18. God is gracious to answer all our prayers.
May you meditate on Deuteronomy 6-8 this season and reap your abundance.
